History of Victorian Football League - The Victorian Football Association (VFA) was the first Australian Rules Football league, made up up clubs in the State of Victoria, Australia. It was founded in 1877; in 1897 several clubs broke away to form the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Living history - Living history is a side of historical reenactment which aims to accurately depict the life of normal people in a domestic setting, for the given period. It is often used to distinguish from combat reenactment, which is the other main focus of many reenactment groups.
